It`s been a year since Russia launched a full scale invasion in Ukraine. We experienced a lot of suffering, a lot of sadness. The lives of young people who have sacrificed their lives on the altar of their homeland, defending the freedom of their country, have been taken. Many people suffer constantly. Many people have lost their homes, lost their loved ones. They went into the unknown. They are in a wonder. Many people were injured there. Many people mutilated, missing an arm, leg or other body parts. But there are also people of goodwill who rushed to help. Among them are the Knights of Columbus, our conferences in Poland, our Brothers, Knights in America, in the United States, who help each day through prayer, but also through humanitarian aid.
This help was also shown to us by the Supreme Knight, Patrick E. Kelly, who came to Ukraine twice to touch this bleeding ground, to see the suffering, to give a hand to suffering nation. We are very grateful to him for that. We are very grateful to our Knights and Poland and in the United States for the huge help.
Which flows in a wide stream to Ukraine thanks to You. It reaches those who really need it most. I often hear the voices that Knights of Columbus logo is more recognizable than the Caritas logo.
This is our pride, and mine too, because I`m also knight of Columbus. And for that, dear brothers, I thank you very much and do not stop. Keep praying and supporting us so we can come here to help and give a hand to Christ. Because he is identified in every person. Whatever you have done, you have done for the other me.
Vivat Jesus.
