40. Seweryn MORAWSKI, 15.02.1885- +02.05.1900, from 13.05.1881 Auxiliary Bishop of Lviv, died in Lviv.
41. St. Joseph BILCZEWSKI, 17.12.1900- +20.03.1923, consecrated 20.01.1901 in Lviv. He died in Lviv, buried in the cemetery Janowski, beatified by Pope John Paul II in Lviv 26.06.2001.I was. He was canonized by Pope Benedict XVI in Rome.
42. Boleslaw TWARDOWSKI, 03.08.1923- +22.11.1944, consecrated 12.01.1919 in Lviv. From 14.09.1918Auxiliary Bishop of Lviv, died in Lviv.
43. Eugene BAZlAK, 22.11.1944 - + 15.06.1962, from 09.15.1933 Auxiliary Bishop of Lviv, from 01.03.1944 coadjutor with right of succession Metropolitan Twardowski. 26.04.1946 deported to Polish. From 23.03.1951 - Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Krakow. Krakow 28.09.1959 r. - Consecrator of Bishop Karol Wojtyla later the Pope John Paul II. He died in Warsaw, buried in Wawel Castle Krakow.
44. Marian Cardinal JAWORSKI, 16.01.1991- 21.10.2008. From 24.05.1984 the Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Lviv in Lubaczow, consecrated 23.06.1984 in Krakow Wawel. From 18.05.1996 to 25.031998 Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Luck. 21.02.1998 cardinal "in pectore" by John Paul II, From 28.01.2001 Cardinal announced. 21.02.2001 Creating a cardinal. 21.10.2008 he retired. He died on September 5, 2020 in Krakow. On September 11, 2020, after the funeral mass in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, he was buried in the crypt of the chapel of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Kalwaria.

Mieczyslaw Mokrzycki 21.10.2008 - 1996-2005 – personal secretary of John Paul II, 2005-2007 – Secretary of Benedict XVI. 16.07.2007 – appointed coadjutor of the Lviv Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church by Pope Benedict XVI. 29.09.2007 – episcopal ordination in Vatican administered by Benedict XVI together with Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, SDB, Secretary of State of the Holy See, and Cardinal Marian Jaworski, Archbishop of Lviv, Metropolitan. 21.10.2008 Archbishop of Lviv, from 05.11.2008 President of the Episcopal Conference of the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine, ingress to the Cathedral 22.11.2008.
